Notes: Botryobambusa was introduced by Liu et al. (2012) with a single species with both sexual and asexual morphs. Phylogenetically this genus is clearly distinguished from Botryosphaeria. However, it is similar to Botryosphaeria except for smaller asci and ascospores that are surrounded by a mucilagenous sheath. Two species are accommodated in this genus (Dissanayake et al. 2017).
